  7. The WY-995 Intelligent multi-user Interface Board is a high-speed 8-channel
  8. serial interface board designed to allow multiple terminals, modems, printers
  9. or other serial devices to be interfaced with any AT-compatible computer. The
  10. WY-995 features 8 asynchronous serial communication ports, on-board high-speed
  11. processor, 48K on-board dual-ported RAM and occupies one full-length 16-bit
  12. ISA slot. No separate connector box is required. The WY-995 includes all
  13. necessary cables and data terminal adapters. The WY-995 supports independent,
  14. bi-directional data transfer over each of its eight serial ports. Data can be
  15. be transmitted continuously at a rapid 19.2 K bits/second over all eight
  16. channels simultaneously. Since each port acts independently of the others,
  17. various data transfer rates can be implemented simultaneously.
